The white catarratto grapes spend a couple of weeks macerating with their skins during the natural yeast fermentation. The result is an orange wine that isn't too over powering or too bitter.

Flavours of citrus peel, herbs and ginger with a well rounded rich texture and long finish, this orange wine is delicious on it's own or goes perfectly with fish or curries. Baglio Antico Bianco Catarrato is a natural orange wine made from organic grapes in Sicily. Vegan wine.

After years of studying the land Valnetina Passalacqua decided she should isolate the plots of their vineyards characterised exclusively by Kimnmeridgian Calcareous soils. Hand harvested grapes are destemmed then go through a 15 day maceration on the skins. Wild yeast fermentation, aged for 8 months in concrete vats and 1 month in bottle before release. Unfined and unfiltered.

Bright straw yellow in the glass, the nose has aromas of aromatic white flowers, peaches and balsamic notes. The palate is fresh and mineral with an almost herbaceous quality and a dry finish.

Arianna’s home town of Vittoria lies in the far south of Sicily just to the west of Ragusa. It is here that she has been making wine for the past ten years under the tutelage of her uncle, Giusto Occhipinti who owns and runs the famous COS estate. 280 metres above sea level. The soil is medium density red sands and chalk from sub-Apennine limestone rocks.

 Made by Oskar Maurer who creates incredible wines in Serbia using only natural wine making methods. The grapes are grown on old bush-wines which have to be cultivated by horses because of the dense planting. Soils are made up of loess, limestone and brown soil.

This beauty is packed with citrus peel and oranges. The proximity to the sea is shown in the salinity of the wine with a zippy acidity to provide extra freshness. Fattoria de Vaira is one of the largest biodynamic farms in Italy. Situated a few hundred metres from the Adriatic Sea on Clay soils with South,

South-East facing vineyards. Soils have been restored over the years and are now back to the purity of wild soils. They cultivate vegetables, grains, olive oil and honey. Included in the vineyards are their Falanghina and Trebbiano grapes which make up this wine.

Bodegas Vinessens is based in Alicante ran by winemakers Andres Carull and Marta Ribera. They champion local varieties, low intervention wine making and organic grapes, very well regarded around the Alicante wine region. Tragolargo Blanco is a natural, organic skin contact white wine made from Moscatel and Merseguera grapes that are hand harvested from the stony soils of the region.

2 different clones of Riesling harvested at 3 different times at different ripeness. 35% was fermented on skins for 2 weeks after that it was put into stainless steel tanks. 10% in used 500L barrels, the rest in stainless steel tanks. 8 months on fine lees then blended and bottled, no fining or filtering.

Some skin maceration on this, with three different picking times to achieve that amazing balance in acidity and sugar to give you the right amount of weight and finishing bone dry with that characteristic Riesling zing! Super delicious, and really moreish. Family winery on the gentle sloping mountains in Stary Poddvorov. They own 5 hectares of vineyards growing on the Southern and Southwestern slopes of the loess subsoil. No herbicides used, only preparations that they make.

Grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed. Fermented in open 1500L fermenters on skin for 12 days. Pressed off into 2200L old oak foudre to finish fermentation. Indigenous yeast fermentation using ambient temperatures. The wine goes through malolactic fermentation before being bottled unfined and unfiltered with a very small amount of sulphur added before bottling.

A nose with notes of flowers, herbs and ginger before lemon and orange aromas develop. The palate displays fruit, citrus and minerals to go with bright acidity. Light and energetic.

After travelling extensively in Portugal and Austria learning his craft Craig Hawkins returned to South Africa and became the winemaker at top Swartland estate Lammershoek. Craig now makes his own wines from various small, organic vineyard sites in Swartland and makes his wine naturally, with as little intervention as possible. The climate in mediterranean with granite soils.

Nachbil is located in Beltiug in the North-Western Transylvania region of Romania. They have been farming with no herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers since 2010 along with no intervention in the winery. The climate is ideal for ripening the grapes along with rich clay soils.

Nachbil Grunspitz is an orange wine made with local grape Grunspitz. The handpicked organic grapes spend 5 days macerating in open-topped vessels to extract the orange hue and a touch of tannin and structure. They finish fermentation in stainless steel tanks using only natural yeasts. 9 months later the orange wine is bottled, unfined and unfiltered. Very low proudction of this.. about 300 of the 2017 vintage.

It's complex and textured with subtle tannin structure. Flavours of bitter orange and an amazing minerality the runs through the palate. All you can want and more from an orange wine made from strange local grapes in Romania.

Nigori translates into cloudy! Fresh and alive with minerality, balanced acidity and full of flavours of pears and almonds.

Zsolt Sütő started to work on 12 hectares of land near the village of Strekov in Slovakia in 2002. 7 years later he converted his plots to sustainable farming. The region has a microclimate that allows a long ripening season as the temperature is moderated by the Danube river. Clay-loam soils. The vines are trained into bush vines which mean yields are kept very low with extremely good quality.

Winemakers since 1770, the family operates 11 hectares of vineyards in and around Alsace including some prestigious Grand Crus. Monique, Beatrice and Joseph Christian Binner have divided the various tasks on the estate with the help of two further employees, Christian and Philippe.
